Default ID Help Dr. Seow - Prostosas bhutea or p. nelides?

This was shot in Fraser's Hill and was IDed as P bhutea. I post this in Facebook yesterday and some thought it could be P. nelides. I'm confused LOL:

    Prosotas nelides.

In the past this have been misIDed as P. bhutea. (I am probably guilty as well.)

    P. nelides ;greyish ;FW band macular ( of nearly distinct spots) or catenulate (like chain-links); FW apex dark-shaded & submarginal spot blurred out.
    Regularly taken at Fraser's Hill.

Prosotas bhutea ;brownish; FW spots more band-like; FW no postdiscal & sub-basal (below midcell band) spot in space 1b.
The pic below is the only in which the FW is raised high enough to show no spot in space 1b.

eg below ;although there is no sub-basal spot in space 1b ,there is a postdiscal spot present ,so it is not P. bhutea .

As P. bhutea is stated to be not uncommon in the hills it should look out for.

    TL Seow; Cheers.
