    Default Rapala dieneces/suffusa

I believe this is R. dieneces from the slightly scalloped post-discal band(more or less straight in suffusa).
    R. damona is probably very unlikely.

Agreed it should be R. dieneces.
The three species are very similar on the underside & easily confused.
eg The extent of the HW orange area indicates this one below is R dieneces.

Two old shots taken from a distance. This should be a female R. dieneces right?

    It should be R. dieneces.
    Rather worn.
There is no suggestion it could be something else.

    Post 7.

The first three are R. dieneces females.
The last from its colour also looks to be R. dieneces female as the female of R. suffusa is yellow & has a strongly curved FW band.

There are many variations & uncertainty as the upperside is not available.
It is easier to show the definitive pix. All from Singapore.

    R. dieneces :FW band/line fairly straight or slightly curved ;HW with orange crown more prominent.
    Male & female.

Thx Dr Seow. The straight forewing band seems consistent in dieneces
