    Is this a Potanthus Omaha or Ganda? Taken today at USR

    It is a female Potanthus ganda.

    It is probably P. ganda is far commoner than thought in Singapore.
    It is very similar to P. omaha & some examples seem to be intermediate.

    On the upperside the veins across the HW band are not darkened in ganda but in omaha (variable).
    P. ganda is more orange but colour is very difficult to judge in photos.

    Potanthus omaha.
    Underside veins dark-dusted (variable).
    Spots with poor dark edgings & HW dark shading light.
