    Default Unknown Pelopidas from Pakistan

    Hi.
    I am new user. I need to get identification of this Pelopidas which was clearly larger than P mathias. I could manage to get only 4 pics of it all of which are attched. Unfortunately none of these was male upper forewing shot

    What you have should be the female Pelopidas sinensis.
    This species tend to have 3-4 rahter large ( larger still in the female) hyaline spots on the upperside hindwing.
    The antennal has a larger pale whitish area.

    The rest of the Pelopidas have 1- 2 spots or none on the upperside hindwing.
    In addtion the following apply.

    P. assamensis. FW spots quite white, the 2 cellspots very close or touching; antenna with prominent white patch.

    P. conjunctus : Forewing spots distinctly yellow. Female.

    P. subochracea. Antenna with pale area small or obscure; Hindwing spots usually small.
