It is definitely Polyura moori.
The pale green band is very broad.
There is an indentation at the top of the band below the subapical spot.
The outer margin (on the FW) is shallowly excavated ( carved out).
So, congratulation.
TL Seow :Cheers.
Congrats, Jonathan for this exciting find.

Thanks Uncle Horace and Uncle Seow!!
Yes it was very obvious, when it was flying, that it was something different.
Uncle Seow, thanks for pointing out the distinguishing features too. I'm finding the polyura species very similar.

Congrats Jon! The indentation that Dr Seow mentioned is quite clear now. The other species don't seem to have this feature.
Thanks!!
Yes we're lucky we got quite a typical specimen.

Which also means that the NSS "sighting" of P. jalysus was wrongly identified all this time. Lemon, if you are reading this, please correct NSS that they have reported the Indian Yellow Nawab (Polyura jalysus) incorrectly all this time, and Robert Teo has also incorrectly added it to his checklist.
