    Default ID please!

    Here's some interestingly peculiar,or cool looking moths.Some require ID.
    Singapore's 4th largest moth,I think.
    Erebus ephesperis


    And Singapore's largest moth,or in this case,moths
    Attacus Atlas,(Atlas moths)(Mating pair)


    Theretra nessus

    Side view,now it really looks like a fighter jet!


    A very impressive Sphingid!
    Ambulyx moorei


    And now for the ones I can't ID,Heterocera experts,please.

    A 2nd similar species with heavier makings (note more prominent HW discal spot..)& slightly brownish ground may also occur.

    Cyclosia inclusus female Zygaenidae.

    This is also present in the other thread & there was doubt because of its broad black border.
    Its shape indicates a perspective distortion with the focus nearer the rear.

    The colour & metallic blue shading of the head, antennae & FW costa all matched.
    Part of the broadness of the black is because the inner margins of both FWs are folded in when they come together.
    Normally there are 2 diffuse spots in the black border, but the high contrast has rendered them invisible.
