Congrats, Cher Hern! Not only a +1 for you, but I would add it as a +1 for the Singapore Checklist, with thanks to our newbie Billy Oh for spotting it first. It's a re-discovery cos it was on the early authors' checklist for Singapore. A butt of this pristine condition cannot have just migrated on its own steam. It probably hitchhiked on the Flacourtia plants that GB brought in from overseas. Let's hope that we see more of them, and that they are breeding on those Flacourtia trees.

The subspecies macromalayana of Vagrans sinha is now a synonym of subspecies sinha.
Formerly ssp macromalayana covers Sundaland (ie. greater Malaya/Malaysia, old zoogeographical term) and the Philippines.

As with a strongly migratory species it is often impossible to differentiate between continental & insular forms.
Vagrans sinha sinha now extends from India to the philippines.
Yutaka website shows the distribution of V. sinha sinha.
    http://yutaka.it-n.jp/hel/710140010.html

The Philippine websites only list V. sinha sinha. for example.

All your IDs are correct, Billy. Well done on your shots. Now you know where to shoot those tigers.

Awesome shot on the Peacock Pansy, Loke.
