    Thanks to GB for the arrangements, Khew for leading and co-ordinating and members for the great companies!
    Here are my sightings for today (19 May 2013)

    Small Branded Swift (Pelopidas mathias mathias)



    Tawny Coster (Acraea violae)


    Dark Glassy Tiger (Parantica agleoides agleoides)


    Leopard (Phalanta phalantha plalantha)


    Pea Blue (Lampides boeticus)

    Thanks for starting this thread, Cher Hern. I've asked Juliana to send me a digital copy of the map so that we can plot into the grid where the butts were spotted. A list below for today's outing. Please add on the species that you've spotted as well.

    maybe more importantly, where did they bring us to... some of the places are not marked out on the map, for example the canel behind the fenced up area.

    Let me post some of my shots here - first four shots taken along a row of ixora shrubs behind the GB HQ (between the drain and Marina Gardens Drive)
    1. Delias hyparete metarete (Painted Jezebel)
    2. Tajuria cippus maxentius (Peacock Royal) - this is a female.
    3. Cephrene trichopepla (Yellow Palm Dart)
    4. Catopsilia pyranthe pyranthe (Mottled Emigrant)- a female.

    These two were shot behind the dragonfly pond.
    5. Zizula hylax pygmaea (Pygmy Grass Blue)
    6. Zizina otis lampa (Lesser Grass Blue)

    I feels that the Pelopidas is correctly P. agna as it does not have a grey tinge to the ground colour.
    Federick have quite a number of shots of both species.

    Female. FW heavily abraded.

    Billy, your last shot looks like a Cycad Blue (Chilades pandava pandava)
