Default The Hunt for White Imperial

Last week, at Khao Sok National Park, during my trek, I've seen a small population of Neomyrina nivea hiemalis (Les, is the very same spot where we saw one last year)

I will go back there for a short holiday around the 10/15 of February, for a 2/3 night followed by a couple more nights at Krabi Phanom Bencha.

Anybody ready for the big hunt?

They look as worn as the one we saw last year!

I'll be happy to go, though it depends on me getting my VISA renewal, due 8 February! I have not been off the Island since our aborted trip last year.

This is soooooo tempting, but the airfare during that period is twice as much.

    THe older the closer...

On a tree I've seen 3 pristine butts following each other on the top of the canopy.

I have the visa renewal those days too, I'll manage to go after that too.

Anyway Khao Sok always reserve some surprise (lepidopterally speaking)

    Can't go, need to work.

Wish both of you the best.
