    2) Wenchuan

While returning back to Chengdu from JZG, my bus passed by Wenchuan (epicenter of the Great Sichuan earthquake on 12-May-2008). For some reason, the traffic came to a halt for more than an hour so I got down the bus. Then I saw two Chinese man near a bush with lots of butterflies. Thought they are appreciating nature but ...yup ...you guessed it!

    2) Wenchuan

Bus is still not moving and so I went to get my 70-300 with close-up filter. First shot after changing my lens turned out to be in black and white! Must have accidentally changed the settings

    3) Ya'an Bifengxia

Less touristy than JZG but a beautiful and peaceful retreat nonetheless. The pandas there are so cute

Yes, that was nice to see. I am surprised at the number with relatives in Europe. Looks like quite a few of the genera are widespread across Europe/northern Asia.
