    Default Near Kelau Forest Reserve

An interesting place near Kelau Forest Reserve. 2+ hours drive from KL and another 1+ hours 4x4. Not the normal 4x4 can go in. It has to be modified 4x4 WD. Weather was bad that day, only a few couple of common butts around like Rings, Sailor and skippers. The 4x4 ride was tough, both hands have to hold tightly and can't even let go for a few seconds , no chance for a smoke too.

Looks like fun getting there! I can't find Kelau on my Malaysian Road Map, but, seeing that you found the Udara species, can I presume it is somewhere in the central mountain range?

The White Imperial is right up there in my 'most want to see' list. Somehow, I think the 'forests' I have on Samui would not be to this species's liking. I will have to go to the mainland for it. It is so beautiful. Thanks for showing it.

Yes, it is somewhere in the middle of Malaysia on the left of Raub town. I have no idea the actual spot. In that area, there are ferns all over the places. I would guess it is quite high.

I am amazed that you could get in, even with a 4x4. That road looked like a nightmare!

The Imperial would have been worth the trip. I wonder what else would be there if the weather had been more cooperative?
