    Good weather for butterflying, caught quite a number of butts today. I will begin with 2 butterflies...puddling in an almost dried up longkang!

    Skipper 1 is the Small Branded Swift (Pelopidas mathias). Typical spotting; dark grey shading.

    Skipper 2 has a brand or male-mark, the slanting line on its forewing.
    It should be another Small Branded Swift.
    But, do you remember its size, Brian ? If it is large, like the size of a Coconut skipper, than you have a new species, Caltoris brunnea (Dark Branded Swift).
