    Default Euthalia alpheda langkawica ?

Is this Euthalia alpheda langkawica ? The name suggests that it is from Langkawi.

Yes. Note white fascia on the forewing does not touch the cellend bar or spot; also note whitening of the apex.

Correction : It is subspecies yamuna from the mainland.

    Thanks Seow.

Question, the subspecies yamuna was not mentioned in C&P4. Shall I use this subspecies name ?

There is a checklist of all species, subspecies and their locations near the back of the book. E. alpheda is at page 408.

    TL Seow

PS: Note typo error in Checklist; ssp langkawica is restricted to Langkawi, while yamuna extend all the way into peninsular Thailand.
