    Default Moth Cat??

    Came across this rather large caterpillar while shooting at butterfly hill yesterday. Anyone knows the ID?

    looks like the cat of the atlas moth
    In the spirit of science, there really is no such thing as a 'failed experiment.' Any test that yields valid data is a valid test.

    Yes, it's an atlas moth cat about to drop a dookie
    I had one of these in my garden, will post the shots when i'm free.

    Wow! I heard it takes as long as a month for it to become a moth. Did u manage to see it eclose?
