    Default Watch out for these ants at AH esp on wet day

    Saw these ants twice at AH on wet day esp after raininig ... be careful when you step onto the grass area

    average size for each ant is abt 1cm big

    Thanks for letting us know. BTW, don't think these are ants....looks more like termite soldiers! Look at their big pincers!

    I suppose in Singapore, it's quite ok to wear sandals.

    When I used to hike in the hills in Malaysia, it was always proper shoes. That's why I feel more "comfortable" in shoes. Leeches, ants, centipedes, even snakes are potential hazards. Also, the high profile shoes will minimise sprained ankles when walking on uneven ground.

    Sandals are definitely cooler and lighter, but if you're going shooting in Malaysia, I would definitely recommend proper footwear.
