    Default Taractrocera archias quinta ?

    These 2 orange skippers were taken quite some time back at AH.

    This one looks like Taractrocera archias quinta.


    Anyone want to try to ID this one ?

    Nope, they got 'hooks'. Neo Dart has no apiculus.

    Heh... Neo's getting to be quite an expert at these Skippers.

    Yup. Taractrocera spp. do not have apiculus on their antennae. Yours clearly have those hooks showing.

    Hehee... first to id this 'new' skipper, so must train until can recognise it. Now with the underside shot by YS, ability to id this species increases.
