Appears to be the Lyssa zampa (Giant Uranid Moth) see discussion here :)
yes appears to be a Lyssa zampa.
I shot one here too, last year.

I go with Lyssa zampa, also. Note though that the very similar L. monetius is also possible in southern Thailand.

Thank you, Roger. After reading the descriptions, it appears that my sdpecimen is a female of Lyssa zampa (the wider white/grey markings lead me to that impression).
PS. I'm slowly getting links to the various volumes, Nos 1,3,5,6,8 & 12 so far!
