Dr Seow, which Ypthima species is this?
Judging by the upperside, I'm guessing it's a female. The ocellus 5 is slightly larger than ocellus 6, a feature of Y. baldus. Yet, the ocelli are discontiguous. I still lean towards Y. horsfieldii though.

Yes it is Ypthimas horsfieldii humei.
The female have a stronger whitish distal half which contrast more with the darker basal half.
Because of different opinions the population across the border in Thailand is known as Y. nebulosa.
Eliot deem the true nebulosa to be confined to Sumatra.

Underside ground colour whiter with the striae more contrasted.
HW spots 2 & 3 mainly separate , spots 5 & 6 subequal ie spot 6 may be smaller, larger or equal to spot 5.
HW spot 2 & 3 more aligned with the double spots in space 1b. Spots 2 & 3 are also parallel to spots 5 & 6.
Aoki & Uemura shows nebulosa wsf with HW spots 2 & 3 large & conjoined. This is also seen in ssp horsfieldii from Java. Dsf have small spots.
Aoki & Uemura also indicate in nebulosa the UpF yellow ring is round. This does not seem to hold true.

Underside ground colour pale buff with the striations less contrasted.
UnH spots 2 & 3 large & mostly conjoined ; spots 6 almost always smaller than spot 5.
HW spots 2 & 3 less aligned with the double spots in space 1b & is also set at angle to spots 5 & 6.
There are forms, dsf & intermediates in which HW spots 2 & 3 are small and separated.
Aoki & Uemura indicate the UpF yellow ring is oval in baldus; again not reliable.

In Y. baldus newboldi HW spot 6 is almost always smaller than spot 5.
There are occasional examples where they are almost equal especially in dsf, but none has spot 6 much larger than spot 5 as this individual.

PS3. Although this shot is labelled as Y. baldus, the alignment of the HW spots indicate it is Y. horsfieldii. A line thru spots 2 & 3 cut one of the spot in space 1b.

Compare this shot of Y. baldus .Although the ground colour is rather white , a line thru spots 2 & 3 misses the spots in space 1b. Spots 2 & 3 are also at an angle to spots 5 & 6 (ie not parallel.).
