Our friend from Bhutan seeks your help in identifying these following butterflies. All shot in Bhutan.
Found caterpillar feeding on Bamboo and the adult eclosed today.
The caterpillar looks like P.mathias but very much bigger. Could this be a P.assamensis?
Very difficult.
The closest match appear to be Arhopala arvina.
Ssp aboe usually have the HW spot 6 with the outer margin notched.
Please help ID
It is definitely P. assamensis.
