View Full Version : Well camouflaged

If not for the fact that we startled this moth and it flew to perch on the tree trunk, we would not have noticed it. Very well camouflaged on the tree. It's a rather large moth with a wingspan of about 8cm.

The 2nd shot shows a close-up of its head and the patterns on its wings.

Will have to wait for Roger's help to ID it. :)

Great camo, even beats SAF's latest camo uniforms! :bsmile:
Cool looking moth, it looks like its even curved, just like the circumference of the tree
