I am looking desperately for a moth checklist in Singapore... or Malaysia ... any? I read there's a book going to be out for malaysian moths in these threads... any idea whether it's out yet.

I came across this moth with a flashy blue underside... I chased it cos I thought it was a mysterious blue arhopala... turned out to be an Arctiid looking moth.

Maybe it's common... any idea what it is...? If somebody has posted before, so sorry... :)

having now consulted Endo & Kishida (1999: Day-Flying Moths, Chalcosiinae, Epicopeia; Endless Science Information, Tokyo), I think this is a male Cyclosia spargans.

cheers, Roger.
