Whilst we are struggling with our Harlequin's habitat loss (http://www.butterflycircle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9118) in Singapore, at least we have some authorities that still give their "moral" support for us to so some translocation without much interference.

Read about how the habitat of the famous Malaysian Rajah Brooke's Birdwing was damaged overnight without warning here (http://planetofthemonyets.blogspot.com/2010/01/contractor-screws-butterflies.html). Ulu Geroh is an area where eco-tourists can see puddling Rajah Brooke's Birdwings at many locations along sandy streambanks.

From what the media article indicates, there has been significant habitat damage caused by clueless contractors. :-(
