Appears to be the Lyssa zampa (Giant Uranid Moth) see discussion here (http://b-pals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2088&highlight=Lyssa+zampa) :)

I go with Lyssa zampa, also. Note though that the very similar L. monetius is also possible in southern Thailand.

see the Moths of Borneo website for details:
Lyssa menoetius - http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-8/uraniinae/uraniinae_1_2.php
Lyssa zampa - http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-8/uraniinae/uraniinae_1_1.php

cheers,

Roger.

Thank you, Roger. After reading the descriptions, it appears that my sdpecimen is a female of Lyssa zampa (the wider white/grey markings lead me to that impression).

PS. I'm slowly getting links to the various volumes, Nos 1,3,5,6,8 & 12 so far!
