[Painted Jezebel]

Only a short trip today (clouds closed in), but saw a few nice species.

First off, an upperside shot of a female Horaga syrinx maenala. I don't think one has been shown before here, at least there is not a photo in the checklist. Note the larger white forewing spot. Not the best photo in the world, but it is something different!

Second, a 'petticoat' shot of a female Tajuria cippus cippus.

Thanks. The Horaga looks better when reduced in size! Could not see the Tajuria though.

The Tajuria is added here (http://www.b-pals.com/butts/spc_info.php?spc_id=1224), not in the usual Singapore checklist (I guess you're looking at that). We have sub-species maxentius down here.

Thanks. You are quite right, looking in wrong place. I had better look for another male then (have a photo but a bit out of focus at tail end), as you don't have one!
