I recently saw a strangly coloured Papilio, which I netted for ID purposes. It turned out to be Papilio polytes romulus, a female with extensive pink markings. The photos are attached, but please bear in mind that they were taken through the netting. The butt was then released in the forlorn hope that it might just flutter a short distance to recover, so I could get a better photo. This seems an extreme abberation, or do you know different?

So far those we found in Singapore are very consistant. By looking at your photos, initially I thought it's the Papilio memnon

Yep, I know what you mean, but there is no red at the base of the cell on the forewing. I've seen specimens with extended rose colouration before, but never to this extent.
