Luck plays a big part in butts hunting, today I happened to be there at the right time to see this butt sun-bathing. It was a pity that it took off when I went for a closer shot.

Federick, you are pretty lucky yourself as is evident from your shots of various rare butts in the BC checklist. You even got the mating pair shot of this Halpe ormenes species.
