Captured them on my Z1 this afternoon.

#1 : Tajuria mantra mantra - this is my new addition if the id is correct. Need confirmation.

looks like quite a good selection in Toa Payoh...

anyway, your shots has been improving :thumbsup: take note of the angle, (don't worry, sometimes, I get some strange imbalance shots)

Thanks for your encouragement. My field experience is very limited. Everytime when I see a new species, first thing in my mind is to snap it before it flies away. So always don't pay attention to good photography.

Agreed totally, for new species you should snap first for record and thereafter, whenever possible, a technically perfect shot :bsmile:

Totally totally agree. For new species, get a couple of record shots first at all cost, usually some distance away. Then move in slowly for better shots.

federick, your's is the mantra.. the line on the peacock royal is dashes and not continuous like the mantra

In that case, must go down to hunt the Peacock today.
I think I am getting more confused in iding butts as I encounter more species.
