Went for another lunch time trip at the WWW site. Found quite a few butts puddling at one open ground. There were the usual abundant grass yellows, also gram blue, common line blue, and the ones I was after, pointed cilate blue (pic 1) and pointed line blue (pic 2). At the nearby caerulean bush, finally managed to get an improved shot of the female dark caerulean (pic 3). Not far away, found a Malayan eggfly guarding its freshly laid eggs (pic 4). As I was leaving, spotted what I believe is a grand imperial flying from the track into the neighbouring vegetation but NPNT here.

Not quite +2 as I have taken record shots of both pointed butts. This time the butts just gave me more time and space for better close-up shots.

This is also the first time I spotted the pointed line blue at WWW, the previous location was BTNR.

Thanks Federick. Just experimenting with 4:5 framing for the `taller' pointed butts, and decided to maintain consistency for the other two pics in the same post.

Thanks for pointing that out. I did not see any cat on this particular plant then. By now this plant should be infested with many cats.
The plant on which Sunny saw many cats is about 400m away from this one.

Very observant and sharp-eyed!:thumbsup:
I agree that feature does not look like part of the flower shoot, and quite likely a cat. This could be a cat for the DC as these female DCs have a habit of going from the flower shoot to flower shoot of this plant (host plant?) and taking up the egg-laying posture on the shoot. However I could not see any egg laid during that visit.

Went back to the same site today and saw quite a few more Malayan Eggfly butts guarding their eggs on the underside of leaves. In one case, the mother was guarding a leaf full of larve (pic 1 and 2).

Also managed to nail the female pointed cilate blue in a nearby grass patch (pic 3) and confirmed it is female with its upperside (pic 4).
