Interestingly, at the same location where we shot the earlier female "Abisara saturata", I encountered another Abisara this morning. The dislocated submarginal band at vein 4 on the hindwing is more pronounced in the specimen I shot today, hence quite obviously an A. geza.

Not easy to separate the two, particularly the females.

So the difference is the disjoint of the band at vein 4 only? :what:
So says the "butt bible"... wait till we encounter an A. kausambi in Malaysia, then sure to go :stupid:
