hope so lor... actually not sure (yet to find out) if there'll be any butterflies in winter over there :hmmm:

Ask the local? Drop a mail to the local butterfly group?
Probably, they still be in egg form while waiting for the winter to be over.

Pupa... not egg. The temperate countries' species have overwintering pupae, so their pupation period is actually part-hibernation and ready to eclose in spring when the weather warms up.
