Sharing the shots taken today at BBNP - The Plain Banded Awl, Hosora vitta vitta.
It took me 45min to take some decent shots as it was breezy and this little fella was zipping around and landed on my hair many times :bsmile:

At least it is on top of the leaf!! Most of the time this one gives you a neck ache....

I was lucky. There was light rain in the early morning and it appeared after 11am when the sky was clearer and the sun started to shine.
I thought it would prefer more shady spot but it chose to fly high and rest at slightly above eye level for every landing, enjoying the sun.

This Purple Duke was shot at USR on the same day at about 5pm.
(Healvily cropped as it was quite high up)
