Record here too...


A female Rachana jalindra burbona (Banded Royal) was attempting to oviposit. She was on the same type of hostplant that I last witnessed a female ovipositing way back on 17th Jul 2006 on another location.

A record shot when she took shelter below a Melastoma malabathricum

Nelson ....they are there , need lots of trekking though :wink:

And she's a pristine specimen! :) So looks like they're breeding well. There was a shot of the male upperside at NPSS taken by a Filipino photographer some time back. Can't find the shot now. ;P
